Bill was, indeed, a very beautiful, sweet boy - a gentle guy with a wonderful personality. He was very willing to please easily trained. He loveed to retrieve, and was always carrying something in his mouth. Bill earned his TD in March, 1998 at his first test. He also earned his CD in Nov. 1999 and his CDX in April 2001. Bill earned his WC at nine yrs., in April, 2005. This made him a VCX!

Bill was a larger dog (about 24 inches, 83 lbs.). He had a lovely head with super stop and gentle expression. His coat color was light gold. Bill's pigment was dark that holds through the winter and his eye color a darker medium. He had a correct scissors bite. His outstanding features were a fabulous front assembly (good angles, elbows tucked in, perfectly straight when viewed from the front), excellent angulation front and rear, good tailset, a strong, level, short coupled back. Bill's movement was strong and effortless with correct foot-timing.

Bill finished his championship breeder/owner/handled to all points at 26 mo. He finished with 5 majors and 18 pts.

Bill passed on his head, front, strong topline, short back, good angulation, pigment, movement and fantastic disposition to his pups. ( I have had so many breeders and owners of his kids tell me what wonderful personalities his kids have. They are very smart, trainable and willing to please.) His pups have been doing very well at all-breed and specialty shows, winning and placing in their classes. His pups have been medium to light in color., with an occasional darker one showing up. Bill has been putting his stamp on his kids, they are conformationally correct and very flashy. A number of his pups are also succeeding in field, agility and tracking. One of his puppies had graduated from Seeing Eye at the top of his class and was in the breeding facility siring more guide dog puppies! At 11 yrs old, Bill was still siring large litters, with the latest litter being due Sept 26, 2007.

A very few breedings of frozen semen is available. If you have a special girl that you think should be bred to Bill, feel free to contact me.
